Oeuf

Yesterday Neil and I decided on which train route we want to take across the continent (excluding Mexico unfortunately). It is RAD and CRAZY and HUGE and now I am getting excited. First departure is to Montreal, then we're heading straight to New York; then down the Eastern coast to Jacksonville Florida; then to New Orleans; then San Antonio; then El Paso where there are many, many awesome caves; then up the Pacific coast to Santa Cruz to visit his sis; then to San Fransisco; then to Portland, Oregon; and then up to Vancouver and then across the Prairies and such until we wind up back in Montreal; then home! Thirty days! Thirty days of pure awesome! I even bought a new backpack today out of excitement.

We also had a very exhausting day today which involved swimming, passport picture taking, and a very long walk down to Point Pleasant Park and back. It was a pretty walk, the sun was out, the ocean was blue. Lovely.

We saw some weird stuff wandering around the strange neighborhoods of the South End. Observe:

  1. I thought they were rotten clementines. Now why would someone chuck out eggs?!
Unless.. it was a bird's eggs.. which wouldn't make sense 'cos they'd be cold and unviable.

    ANYWAY.
The adventure sounds fantastic. Take lots of pictures.
